Petanque/Boules

GROUP CONVENOR – Pippa Boardman

Petanque is essentially a form of Boule, played by the French and Spanish in their town squares.

The game is played in teams of 2/3 with matches lasting about 45 minutes. There is a competitive element to the game and a basic level of fitness is needed. We play for about 2 hours on the last Saturday afternoon of the month at 2pm.

There is a social element to playing with members often stopping for a drink after the game. There are also events with other teams often involving a meal as well as a game!

You will need to join Tregony Social Club £10pa.

To get started the club has boules that you can practise with and the existing players will help with how to play.

Contact Pippa Boardman via the below form if you’d like any more information.
