Group Convenor – David Mead
This group meets from 14.00 – 16.00 on the 2nd Monday of the month, and from 10.00 – 12.00 on the 4th Wednesday of the month at St Austell Arts Centre.
The group will cater for all levels of players from experienced, those wishing to improve their game and those wishing to learn.
If anyone could bring a cribbage board and pack of cards with them it will be of great help.
Cribbage originated in the 17th century, adapted from a game called “Noddy” by an English poet Sir John Suckling and soon became a favourite game for sailors and fishermen due to its portability. It would be good to keep these historical games alive with your help.
We are happy for you to come to a Coffee Morning or one main Monthly Meeting and to attend one individual group (with the exception of groups that require pre-booking and ticket purchases) before deciding whether to join St Austell u3a.
Please always contact the group convenor to ensure the session is going ahead
