Over the past 12 years or so we have had marvellous times travelling with our u3a friends.
We have been as far away as Peru. In Europe; Sicily, France, Christmas Markets, Spain, Italy, Croatia and closer to home; Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Yorkshire.

There are no dates at the moment but is likely to be late September to October.
Fully inclusive prices are expected to be in the region of £1600 per person (with single room supplements). To make the trip viable we need interest from at least 20 people. 2025 8 day tour of Puglia
2024 8 day tour to Montenegro.
2022 We have toured Madeira. We travelled by coach to Gatwick Airport on the 20 March, stayed overnight at a Premier Inn and then left for the tour from 21-28 March. You can view photographs from our trip HERE.
2016 saw 6 off to Morocco, via Milan and Barcelona by train and flying back from Casablanca. Another 20+ of us went to Croatia end of September
2017 a group of 20 of us went to Scotland. Flying to Edinburgh from Exeter and having stays/trips to Garve, Inverness, Tain, Isle of Skye, Oban, Glasgow, and we flew back to Exeter where our coach met us to bring us back to St Austell.
2018 and we went off to North Cyprus (Turkish part) going later in the year so not too hot.
2019 and we went to Portugal, a cultural tour The Pousades of Portugal you can see on Mercury Holidays website.
We already have 21 members who are travelling. The cost for the Madeira part is £1079 per person in a doubleroom(+ £189 sole occupancy) . This includes all breakfasts in Madeira and 4 buffet dinners. Our meetings are when necessary, but always announced at the monthly meetings.
We are happy for you to come to a Coffee Morning or one main Monthly Meeting and to attend one individual group (with the exception of groups that require pre-booking and ticket purchases) before deciding whether to join St Austell u3a.
Please always contact the group convenor to ensure the session is going ahead.
