Group Convenor – Frances Firmin
This group meets every Thursday except for the 1st Thursday (monthly meeting) when we meet on the 1st Friday at the Assembly Room, St Austell Arts Centre at 10:00. Please try and arrive 10 minutes early to help set up and to have a chat.
We play friendly hands of bridge in a “No Fear” atmosphere – non competitive, discussing the hands after play.
As long as you know how to play bridge you are very welcome to join us as a regular or on a occasional basis, a partner will always be found for you.
Help is available on bidding and play. This is an excellent way to revise Basic Acol or to be introduced to it if you are only used to playing ” kitchen bridge”.
More experienced players who are prepared to play with less confident players are especially welcome.
We are happy for you to come to a Coffee Morning or one main Monthly Meeting and to attend one individual group (with the exception of groups that require pre-booking and ticket purchases) before deciding whether to join St Austell u3a.
