GROUP CONVENOR – Wendy Poole
We are Knitting, Crochet Group, that started in July 2025 and we meet for 2 hours, at the St Austell Arts Centre, usually on the 4th Monday of the month from 14.00 to 16.00.
This is a social group, welcoming all levels of knitters and crocheters, plus we are now including and welcoming people to bring along hand sewing needlecrafts as well, such as embroidery, cross stitch, hand patchwork and quilting. The aim of our group is to get together and socialise with like minded people, get inspiration and enjoy some time together.
Wendy is also on hand if you get stuck at a particular spot with your knitting or crochet pattern.
There will also be a some knitting or crochet mini-technique tutorials sprinkled across the year, but these will be completely optional and you are welcome to choose to work on your own project instead.
Just bring along your current project plus any refreshments for the afternoon and we look forward to seeing you there.
We are happy for you to come to a Coffee Morning or one main Monthly Meeting and to attend one individual group (with the exception of groups that require pre-booking and ticket purchases) before deciding whether to join St Austell u3a.
