GROUP CONVENOR – David Hooper
This group meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month at a members home between 12:00 and 13:30.

This Group is intended for those who like reading and discussing poetry.
To enjoy poetry whether it be funny, serious, historic, local or national and to widen our knowledge of poetry by learning from the knowledge and
experience of others.
Members bring along a selection of 2 or 3 poems to each meeting, read them to the rest of
the group and give a short biography of the poet. Each member would read one poem in turn. Tea and biscuits to be provided at the start.
The meeting is intended to be informal.
We are happy for you to come to a Coffee Morning or one main Monthly Meeting and to attend one individual group (with the exception of groups that require pre-booking and ticket purchases) before deciding whether to join St Austell u3a.
