WALKS (SHORT—APPROXIMATELY 3 MILES)

GROUP CONVENOR – Roger Jones

Our group meets on the 4th Friday of every month (except December which is the 3rd Friday). We start walking at 10.30am from a variety of places. The walks are circular and generally about three miles long over very varied terrain. We tackle stiles of all shapes and sizes, fields with cows and sheep, and the inevitable mud.

We walk on coastal paths, in woods and over the countryside from Bude to the Lizard, The Roseland, Bodmin Moor and many local areas. We take our time to appreciate the wonderful views Cornwall has to offer and to top it all off, we usually decide we deserve a pub lunch, but if you want a picnic, that`s fine too.

We have had as many as 20 or more walkers or as few as eight. All abilities are welcome as we always wait for the slowest walkers and haven`t lost anyone yet.
