GROUP CONVENORS – Sharon Wood & Maryanne Thomas
This walk is usually on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.
The next walk is on 13th April A beautiful 6.5 mile circular coastal walk with a part inland and along the St Mawes estuary so some ups and downs and a visit to Place church is a point of interest. There are several stiles along the route with granite steps leading up to them. Some short sections of the path can be muddy if it has rained recently but were passable on the recce.
Parking at St Anthonys Head National Trust car park TR2 5HA. Unfortunately on this occasion there is no option of a free car park. The cost is free for National Trust members or £4.00 for 4 hours, the National Trust is flexible for groups. You can pay in cash or by card or by phone.
All walks will start at 10:00 from the car park designated by the walk leader and will finish at approximately 14:30.
Please bring refreshments including lunch for those walks where there is no identified café/pub on the route. On the Sunday before the walk Sharon or Maryanne will email all walking group members confirming the walk, the meeting place and whether there are refreshments on route.
