GROUP CONVENOR – Amanda Waters
This group is for like-minded members who enjoy wine, to share their enthusiasm, knowledge and preferences of wine. It will offer the opportunity to try wines you may not know or may not have purchased previously.
Currently we will continue to use the St Austell Arts Centre, Assembly Room once a month in the evening 6.30 pm for 6.45pm start, through until 9.45 ish pm for “in house meetings” where we will taste a minimum of 5 wines and there will be cheeses, bread and nibbles to accompany.
There will also be social events through the year in place of a meeting, where the group will visit, for instance, a local vineyard to enjoy a wine tasting with lunch, or a wine tasting evening at a local venue This group will be a platform for trying new wines, having fun and social interaction whether a wine expert or complete beginner to the wine world.
Cost will be dependent upon venue and cost of wines, to be shared equally by participating members plus the room fee.

We are happy for you to come to a Coffee Morning or one main Monthly Meeting and to attend one individual group (with the exception of groups that require pre-booking and ticket purchases) before deciding whether to join St Austell u3a.
